When Catherine and Stephen asked if I would come to Palos Verdes to shoot their wedding, I channeled my inner Jane Bennett and answered, "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!!"

And what an absolutely lovely destination wedding it was!  Guests enjoyed strolling around the grounds of the gorgeous La Venta Inn--a restored 1920s Spanish Villa overlooking a breathtaking vista of the Pacific Ocean--on a warm, breezy summer day.  The flowers were all in full bloom, and hummingbirds could be spotted in abundance, fluttering among the trees.

Catherine's twin, April, was the maid of honor, and their connection was completely evident as April walked Catherine down the aisle, and during April's speech at the reception.  April put it best when she mentioned that when they're both on Netflix at the same time, Catherine always lets April take the reins--now THAT's real love!!  :-)

Catherine and Stephen have such a deep, quiet affection for one another.  It's truly heartwarming to be around them and observe their shared glimpses and loving smiles!  I was completely honored to be a part of their big day, and felt so welcomed by their guests that I truly felt like a part of the family by the end of the weekend.

And, as a bonus, be sure to check out their epic day-after session on the cliffs of El Matador!  (laura-fisher-photography.com/blog/catherine-stephen-post-wedding)
